I had such an amazing time last night. The energy at F**k me Im Famous in Mansion was insane!!! It was Cathy’s birthday and we had a great time. Her Cake was taller than me!!! Kelis and Estelle were there and performed their new singles, which I love! I was nervous and anxious, like i mentioned in the Ustream, but when I hit the stage I felt the inner Commander come to life!
I can not wait to perform this song more! Look out Australia, Ill be performing Commander in your town on the Jam Fest Tour. 90’s group Sisters With Voices have reunited and are on the comeback trail. The ladies Lelee, Taj and Coko are back in the studio working on a new record.
Erykah Badu has managed to stir up controversy after she released her new video "Window Seat" early Saturday Morning. In the video, which was shot Guerrilla-style in one take, she walks along Dealey Plaza in Dallas and sheds her clothes until she is completely nude. At the end of the video, a gun shot can be heard and she falls near the place where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated followed by a narrated statement about "Groupthink". Alot of people have a negative outlook on the video. You have to know what groupthink is. If not, you may not understand the video. Overall i loved the concept of the video and the song!
How far would you go to stand up for your own creative expression? Is it ok to show drugs, violence & nudity in MOVIES and NOT MUSIC videos? aren’t they both creative interpretations? Is it ok for a slender model to wear a bikini but not ok for a curvy woman to wear a bikini on the same network? Wuts the more important question? *who makes the rules?* or *who follows them?*

Just think last year Amber wasn’t seen much without her boo Kanye West. This year she is all over the place and she is still killing the game. Amber has been so popular that she can now hold her own without Kanye. The cameras go crazy without being with Mr. West and everyone wants to take her picture.

King Cover Model Rosa Acosta went in on rapper Maino recently after he made comments about her wearing “fake” shoes on Angela Yee’s show.
Maino says:
"I looked at her “BOOM” she’s cute but she had cheap shoes. Someone asked me would I ever try to talk to her and I said, "No disrespect but (that ain't) my type. Look at your shoes. Look at your bag. I don’t even f*ck women like you.” Imagine I pull up somewhere and you got Jay-z, you got Diddy and n*ggas about their business. I pull up in my bentley and jump out, and this b*tch got on her cheap azz "shoes. I don’t want you, if I can’t sport you."
Rosa Acosta responded:
"First of all he said I’m cheap. That I wear cheap shoes. There is a difference between simple and cheap. I will not wear something that is fake so I will wear whatever I can afford. If I can just afford Forever 21 shoes, then that’s what I am going to buy. And anyway, I wasn’t aware that they gave you lessons about women’s shoes in prison.
Next thing is, why are you so sensitive? Just because I stored your number as Don’t answer and I never call you doesn’t mean that I don’t pray for you. God bless you Maino. Then if you have to talk about me in an interview just to be on blogs instead of your projects and your actual music…You suck!

What is wrong with buying something that’s inexpensive."
Maino’s comment and mentality is the reason why chicks are skipping out on rent and damn near having to move back home or shacking up with 4-5 roommates, just to floss. If you have a closet full of expensive shoes and handbags but still have trouble keeping your lights on or you are hiding your car from the repo man every other month. That’s a problem. If you are a guy and you are riding around in a Bentley and still living in your mama’s basement, That’s a problem.
Only buy what you can afford and if a wack azz dude don’t like it, make him buy you those $1200 dollar shoes.
By the way Maino, Diddy’s chick is wearing $2000 shoes, but guess who’s buying em’? BOING!….
In 2007 Monica released her fifth studio album titled "The makings of me", Personally I loved the album although some of the tracks seemed a bit comtemporary ( at least in my opinion ) but some other fans were dissappointed. Maybe they were accustomed to her signature sound. Im happy she has decided to grace us with her beautiful voice on a brand new CD called "Still Standing" which includes productions by Dallas Austin, Johnta Austin, Bryan Michael Cox, Jermaine Dupri, Missy Elliot and more. According to a representative of RCA Music Group, the album's early first-week sales indicated that it would debut at number two on the U.S. Billboard 200chart. That's definitely a good look for her!
Monica first single is titled "everything to me" which was produced by Missy Elliot.
